Last Thursday (15 th Sept) was a day that I remembered for the rest of my life. It s because I did my 1st public speech that day. It was on the grand even of WSO2, WSO2Con where I had to deliver a speech on WSO2 Carbon Studio. I still cant believe I did that. When I sit back and think about it, it almost felt like a dream that was not happen in real life :)
I used to be a very timid person who always sit in a corner of a classroom, where I can hide from all the teachers and just listen to what they are teaching. I always was a listener, not a speaker. So me delivering a speech, in a such event is always impossible :)
There are lot of things I learnt from that experience. Best lesson I learnt is that you have the power to do anything. You just have to ignite the enormous power that resides inside you. Once it is ignited, you can do anything. You don't have to worry about anything. Everything is possible and you will feel the calmness in your mind.
